“Pay it forward.” “Give back to the community.” Those are catchphrases that are easy to throw around. But for ATLAS Workbase, giving back to the community at large is a big part of its core mission, and not something the company and co-founder Bill Sechter takes lightly.

Of course many ATLAS Workbase members are aware that The 2018 Special Olympics USA Games are expected to be one of the biggest and most significant events in Seattle history. Indeed, 3,000 Special Olympics athletes from all 50 states and the District of Columbia, 1,000 coaches, 10,000 volunteers and an estimated 50,000 spectators will flow into the city when the Games take place July 1-6.

The Games also promote the ideals of acceptance and inclusion through sport; and showcase athletes from throughout the U.S. and the abilities of people with intellectual disabilities. The 2018 USA Games will also highlight Special Olympics’ work in sport, education, health and community-building.

Sounds a lot like the ideals ATLAS Workbase supports.

To help out that mission, and deliver on its own mission, ATLAS Workbase is partnering with The 2018 Special Olympics USA Games as a Bronze Medal Sponsor, offering access to its state-of-the-art office and meeting spaces. for the Special Olympics delegates, partners, coaches, friends and family who accompany the athletes during the event.

Making this partnership of community-giving even more special is that the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games will celebrate the Special Olympics movement and its 50th anniversary (that is a big deal!).

“The ATLAS Workbase top-of-the line satellite office and meeting space is like an extension of our own office space. Having this kind of resource where our team, as well as the delegates and visitors who’ll be coming into Seattle for the USA Games, can catch up on work and host partner meetings, is invaluable,” said Beth Knox, 2018 Special Olympics USA Games President and CEO.

In addition to providing thousands of hours of access to its space at no charge to the delegates attending the 2018 USA Games, ATLAS Workplace will actively help promote the USA Games through its partners and other marketing channels.

Says Sechter, “A pillar of the ATLAS Workbase corporate mission is investing back into the community. The 2018 Special Olympics USA Games represent the ultimate embodiment of diversity and inclusion, two ideals which run deep to the ATLAS Workbase core. We are extremely proud to be a Bronze Sponsor for this year’s games in Seattle,” said Bill Sechter, ATLAS Workbase co-founder and CEO.
