ATLAS Workbase, the coworking company aimed at executive class/business users who seek a more professional shared workspace, is hosting the mayoral debate and roundtable forum entitled, “Old Seattle vs. New Seattle: Can We Find Common Ground to Build a Bright Future?”, on Thursday, October 5 from 730pm-9pm. The free event is presented by the League of Women Voters of King County, with limited seating available by registering here.
Participants include Mayoral candidates Jenny Durkan and Cary Moon; Jon Grant and Teresa Mosqueda for Council Position 8; and Lorena Gonzales and Pat Murakami for Council Position 9. The event will start with a Mayoral candidate forum from 7:30 to 8p.m., then transitions to a roundtable-style discussion with all six candidates.
King 5 political reporter Natalie Brand will moderate the event, which will be streamed live by King 5; the event will also be available on-demand at King 5 and Seattle Channel throughout the election.
ATLAS Workbase delivers a high-end work environment married with a “Third Place” experience that is unmatched in the coworking industry. This is in sharp contrast to established coworking spaces that generally cater to tech companies and whose focus is on creating a fun and highly social experience.
