Mayoral Debate at ATLAS Workbase

ATLAS Workbase Proud to Host the Seattle Mayoral Debate and Roundtable Forum Presented by League of Women Voters October 5. Watch it Now On-Demand!

It’s an exciting time to live, work and play in Seattle. Indeed, what a fantastic and lively evening we all shared on October 5th, when we hosted the mayoral debate and roundtable forum “Old Seattle vs. New Seattle: Can We Find Common Ground to Build a Bright Future?”, presented by the League of Women Voters of King County.

Our city is growing by leaps and bounds, and when you’re busting at the seams it’s bound to affect many different stakeholders in profoundly different ways. That’s why this year’s Mayoral race is so critical, and we weren’t surprised to host such a packed house. Participants included Mayoral candidates Jenny Durkan and Cary Moon; Jon Grant and Teresa Mosqueda for Council Position 8; and Lorena Gonzales and Pat Murakami for Council Position 9. The evening started with a traditional Mayoral candidate forum debate from 7:30 to 8p.m., followed by a lively, engaging and thought-proving roundtable-style discussion with all six candidates.

Kudos to King 5 political reporter Natalie Brand for a job well done moderating the event which was streamed live by King 5. If you missed the event you can watch it on-demand at King 5 here.
